Capital is very close to my South Riding practice, but that’s not what keeps me going. It’s truly the greatest martial arts place on the planet. I put my trust in the entire team at Capital. They have helped me improve my fitness and my learning of self-defense.

My three children have been members of Capital MMA for more than half a decade. All I can say is they love their coaches. At Capital, my family feels like we are surrounded by family. Everyone makes you feel at home, and I can’t imagine my kids anywhere else.

I’m a completely different man than I was when I started at Capital. The community that surrounds Capital is one-of-a-kind. It is accountability for those who need it, guidance for those who seek it, and a presence for those who need a place to feel grounded.

Former Military

As a 40+ year old with a job and family, the thing I love most about Capital is that I can train for my own goals at whatever level of intensity I see fit.I’m a small guy, and I love that size and athleticism don’t matter. What does is having fun and getting better!

CrossFit and BJJ Coach

Capital is a fun and safe training environment to compete, stay healthy or simply have fun. I started with no experience and before long I competed professionally! I have been at Capital for over a decade and I truly love this amazing community.
