Nine Capital MMA & Elite Fitness youth fighters made their way to the USA Muay Thai Federation (USMF) Youth Development League (YDL) tournament in New York on Sunday, October 27th, 2019. The league is open to athletes from 4-17, and fight teams from across the East Coast traveled to this unprecedented event. The USMF YDL has been growing tremendously, and holds these tournaments to help young athletes gain experience in the sport of Muay Thai.

Capital’s young fighters took home 12 medals and a ton of experience! Each competitor — Rhonin Swenson (also the National Youth MMA Champion), Jet Jackson, Sky Jackson, Aero Jackson, Angle Lopez, Julius Weiss, Christopher Gonzales, Keylan Garcilazo and Liliana Suarez — represented Capital well, and made their coaches and family proud.
