Muay Thai Dedication | Harold Riera

Harold Riera is one of Capital MMA’s amateur Muay Thai fighters, and he gets after it!  According to Harold,

Dedication is a commitment. Give your all to something that you love, something that you believe in.

Harold was born in Ecuador, and then lived in Milan, Italy for ten years.  He’s been in the United States for five years, and has been training Muay Thai at Capital MMA for the last several years (though he’ll also attend occasional Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts classes).  He’s since become an accomplished amateur Muay Thai fighter.  As Harold explains, his passion for the art of eight limbs began on day 1.

Since that day it has become an obsession. I’m always trying to improve and become a better fighter. I also am a hard believer that superior movement is key for a fighter. I spend a lot of time working on my footwork and elusiveness.

Harold can be found traveling across Northern Virginia to train at the various Capital MMA facilities, most frequently at the Fairfax and Loudoun locations. He hopes to one day turn pro, and his ultimate dream as a fighter is to become world champion.
