Our Northern Virginia Muay Thai Fighters at the 2019 IKF Spring Classic

Capital MMA’s Muay Thai fighters, from across Northern Virginia, made their way to Myrtle Beach, SC to compete in this year’s 2019 IKF Spring Classic.  This two day limited competitor tournament — from March 15th and 16th, 2019 — featured talent from up and down the East Coast.  Everyone from Capital’s Muay Thai team fought hard, and Kyle Hall won his matches to take the championship!

This was Kyle’s amateur Muay Thai debut.  Kyle recently made his MMA debut at CageZilla, the premier mixed martial arts show in Northern Virginia, where he also took the win.

Alongside Kyle in the picture below is Amine Ballafrikh.  Amine is one of Capital’s Muay Thai coaches, and Lion Fight’s current North American Lightweight champion.  Amine teaches and trains Muay Thai at multiple Capital MMA schools in Northern Virginia.  He was also recently featured on episode 6 of the Fight  Philosophy podcast.  Check it out if you have a chance!
